Short description of winery complex Purcari:
Dear valuers of Moldavian wine and Moldavian cuisine! We invite you to visit with our help the wine estate “Purcari“, which is situated in Ştefan-Vodă district in Republic of Moldova. Here you can try the high quality wines and original taste of Moldavian culinary delights.
The winery “Purcari” was established in 1827 during the reign of Russian Tsar Nicolai I, when the present territory of Moldova used to be a part of Russian Empire and was called by then Bessarabian Province. Since the middle of the 19th century the wine estate “Purcari” became famous for the high quality wine, and this fact was many times confirmed by oenologists at different international exhibitions. For instance, the French wine experts, having tried wine sample “Negru de Purcari” at the Paris exhibition 1878, were sure that this wine was a new Bordeaux sort, but the experts were amazed when they discovered that this sample was produced in a little Bessarabian village not far from Dniester river. It was the first, but by far not the last triumph of Moldavian wine on international level. Purcari wines were awarded by numerous medals (over 250) and Grand Prix.
At the moment the distillery Purcari has a leading role in the export of Moldavian wines. This product is appreciated in more than 30 countries in the world: in Europe, North America and South-East Asia. Such a great success was achieved due to the efficient and reasonable management under conduction of one of the best Moldavian winemakers Victor Bostan. The development of the wine branch is his lifetime project.
The enterprise is making further investments in new technologies and in enlargement of vineyards. As for now the holding Purcari possesses more than 1000 ha vineyards in Moldova and Romania and grows such high quality wine sorts as: Rara neagra, Malbec, Saperavi and Feteasca neagra. Thanks to geographical proximity to the Black Sea (Purcari´s vineyards are situated 60 km close to the Black Sea) and due to black soil, rich of calcium, there is very favorable micro climate for cultivation and ripening wine. Purcari winery produces over 2 millions wine bottles annually.

- Excursion in the distillery and wine cellars+wine tasting according to selected tasting level (they serve crackers and water at tasting).

- Level №4: seven wine samples: Sauvignon Blanc,Alb de Purcari, Rosé de Purcari,Rară Neagră, Malbec, Negru de Purcari,Cuvée Rosé Brut.
- Level №5: nine wine samples: Vinohora Alb,Traminer ,Vinohora Rosé,Pinot Noir,Vinohora Roșu ,Freedom Blend ,Roșu de Purcari, Ice Wine.
- Level №6: ten wine samples: Vinohora Alb,Traminer ,Vinohora Rosé,Pinot Noir,Vinohora Roșu, Freedom Blend ,Roșu de Purcari, Ice Wine, Cuvée Alb Extra Brut.
- Level №7: three wine samples from Vintage collection: Alb de Purcari, Roșu de Purcari, Negru de Purcari.
- Level №8: four wine samples from Vintage collection: Alb de Purcari, Roșu de Purcari, Negru de Purcari Grande Cuvee.

- Transfer Tiraspol-Purcari-Tiraspol takes about 2 hours.
- Excursion+Tasting take from 1,5 till 2,5 hours (depending on selected Level).
- Just excursion (without tasting) takes 40 minutes.
